Congress Dates: November 20, 21, and 22, 2024
Congress Venue: University of the Balearic Islands (Jovellanos Building)
The University of the Balearic Islands will host this first congress, which stems from the research project "Violence Against Women in Contexts and Groups of Special Vulnerability," funded by the Balearic Institute for Women (IBdona).
Through this call, we enthusiastically invite researchers, professionals, and experts in the field to present their current work on the topic, either as oral presentations or posters.
The main goal of this first Congress is to provide a space for reflection and dialogue on the situations and processes experienced by women victims of gender-based violence, where multiple vulnerabilities intersect, such as problematic substance use, addictions, mental health issues, or living in particularly socially vulnerable contexts.
During these three days, the following thematic axes will be addressed from an intersectional perspective:
- Women in contexts of gender-based violence and addictions or substance and alcohol abuse.
